Who are the SRAS Team?

Roxanne

Roxanne came across the plight of these poor animals a few years ago. She decided to visit Romania seeking to help where she could, looking after dogs and fundraising for them.

After this first hand experience and knowing of the help that was needed Roxanne set up Saving Romania’s Abandoned Souls in early 2019.

Roxanne has adopted 2 Romanian rescues herself.

Annette

Annette joined SRAS in late 2019.

4 years prior to this she helped other rescues and fostered countless dogs along the way.

She has adopted one UK and two Romanian rescue dogs.

Rachel

Rachel joined the team in May 2021 and welcomed her Romanian rescue puppy Luna in July 2021.

Rachel’s husband Alex kindly developed this website. 

Volunteers

We are also helped by a great network of valued volunteers that care as much as we do about rescuing these vulnerable animals.
