We seen a post last week about a group of dogs who were newly dumped in a lay-by. This lay-by is a common dumping ground sadly for many dogs each week.
We received a messaged yesterday that Elena found this poor little chap in the middle of nowhere on a country road. They stopped straight away and caught him.
We rescued him a few days ago from a lay-by right next to a busy road. He was newly abandoned but very nervous to start with. After 24hrs he was caught and taken straight to the vets.
Whilst on our recent trip to Romania, we knew a storm was coming so we decided to take the long walk around the nature reserve we visit often to leave food for the strays.
Some of our team have recently been out in Romania visiting our lovely dogs for a week. This was always going to be a difficult trip with this current ban in place. We said no more dogs until it has been lifted. But sadly it’s easier said than done.
